Your fly-fishing adventure begins at Male International Airport, where a GTF crew member will guide you to a domestic flight to the mothership. Once on board, you'll settle into your air-conditioned cabin with a private bathroom and shower. Soon, you'll head to the fishing grounds with a drink and snack. After unpacking, we'll brief you on the 8-day mission and review tackle and tactics. Our onboard GTF Tackle Shop can provide any needed gear. Our Sri Lankan chef will serve a menu of Sri Lankan and South Indian cuisine, featuring fresh fish, shellfish, and a continental breakfast, with a well-stocked bar available.
You can have lunch on the mothership or out on the reef, where our grill master Ibrahim might perform some lunch magic. Each morning, you'll wake up in pristine fishing grounds and start the day with breakfast at sunrise. We'll head out on skiffs to explore reefs and surf zones for fish—this will be the daily routine for the next 8 days. Our guides will work to maximize your chances of landing big fish and offer top-notch service.
Each day, the mothership will move around the Atoll, presenting new scenery, sunrises, and sunsets, accompanied by dolphins and manta rays. On day nine, we'll fish for a few hours on our way back to the airport, where we'll bid you farewell and wish you a safe journey home.

Discover perfect Bonefish fishing on Andros Island with GTFlyfishing. Known since 1948 for its large Bonefish, Andros offers unparalleled opportunities to catch specimens over 10 pounds, guided by experts. Stay and fish at the Lodge on the northern part of Andros Island, the Bonefish Capital of the World. Enjoy 6 days of fishing on Skiffs across vast flats, deep canals, and creeks. The North Bight, known as the Bonefish highway, provides ideal conditions for catching monster Bonefish. Besides Bonefish, the area teems with Permits, Tarpon, Barracuda, Jack Trevalle, and Mutton Snapper. Further out, you can fish for Tuna, Mahi Mahi, and Wahoo.
Our trips cater to both beginners and experienced fishermen. Choose your fishing strategy and even book your own boat (at extra cost). Use 7/8/9 weight rods with 150 yds 20 lbs backing or 30 lbs gel spun backing. For Tarpon, use 9-12 weight rods with powerful reels and 80 lb leader tips. King size Permit can be caught with class 10 gear. Enjoy local delicacies like lobster, shrimp, and fish at our cozy lodge, where you can tie flies in the evenings with a drink in hand. You'll stay aboard the SIRUS, a luxurious 53-foot Hatteras yacht, fully renovated in 2019/2020. The yacht features two guest cabins with private baths, a cozy galley, a modern salon, and a spacious fly bridge lounge area. Our local guides, born and raised in Placencia’s fishing communities, will lead you through the mangrove forests and uninhabited islands, providing expert guidance in fishing and sharing their local secrets.
Your adventure begins with a transfer from Belize International Airport to Placencia, followed by a short boat ride to the SIRUS.
